The foundation stone for the hotel as we know it today was laid in the 1980s by Christian Mühlberger senior, who drove his passion project forward with a lot of vision, courage and tireless drive. We still follow his credo "Preserving the old and yet always keeping up with the times" to this day, giving our guests unforgettable vacations every time.
Full of admiration, gratitude and humility, we look back today on his life's work, in which he transformed the hotel from his parents' farm into one of the leading 4-star superior hotels in the whole of Tyrol in over 35 years.
A house full of tradition
The history of our original house, the mountain farm "Peternhof", goes back to the beginning of the last century. Around 1922, our family received the license for a non-alcoholic bar, which was the first step into gastronomy.
